约翰.胡斯是中世纪晚期捷克最著名的宗教改革家,也因在1415年的康斯坦茨公会议上被处火刑而成为基督教史上最著名的"异端"之一。在整理出版关于胡斯的原始文献的基础上,国外学界从十九世纪中期开始了对胡斯的专题研究,主要从胡斯的宗教改革实践及其影响、胡斯的宗教改革思想及其来源两个方面刻画了一个具有多重身份、呈现多面形象的胡斯。
